-thinking of ways to be more enterprising

-scheduling time to read, daily

-popping cinnamon altoids like i want a hole in my tongue

-still laughing about the shoe i lost while catching the el train, dropped into oblivion under the stairs to join the likes of cellphones and gum wrappers and perhaps a few umbrellas that may never again see the light of day. yes, i was on my way to work.

-keeping yet another good friend in mind who was recently diagnosed with cancer

-getting around on two wheels instead of four thanks to someone's drunk uncle Pedro

-reminding myself to buy a citronella candle to keep away the mosquito that is all but raping me in my very own bed

- hoping the mother's day package gets there in time. i included a sweet cd mix, of course.

- wondering why four birds have mysteriously shown up dead in the vicinity of my apartment...hoping it's not west nile...damn mosquito...really hoping it's not bird flu...damn made for t.v. movie
